Hair Day from Hell!!
Today I have had the most nightmare hair day. I'm trying out KCCC and yesterday it went not too bad but there was a bit of surface frizz so I thought today I'd get up early and try and air dry my hair. I duly got up at 5.30!!! Did the KCCC thing anyway as it was still not dry at just after 7am I decided to just diffuse - it did not turn out well! At 7.10 I decided to cut my losses and ran upstairs and wet my hair and did a bit of a co wash to get the products out. Quickly raked in some pink boots and some gel - of course my micro fibre towel was still wet from the first round so it didn't dry too much. Anway time was wearing on so diffused my hair - scrunching furiously (I think this may have been the problem with what happened next!) Anyway lifted my head up and heavens above! My hair was a combination of curls and frizz. So ran upstairs to bathroom again and had to use water on my hands to wet parts added some pink boots again and just left it. By now I should have already left for work as I cycle, however had to take the car. So I sit here now typing this looking not unlike the bride of frankenstein with this half frizzy half curly mess - and being grateful that I am in the office myself today! I am hoping that I am not the only one who has had a nightmare day like this!

I feel your pain.
I tried a new clipping technique last night and my hair is special this morning. Its sorta, wavy, curly in parts and then straight where the clips sat wrong. Lots of frizz between. I'm so tired of it, I'm not even going to go re-wash. Just use lots of CJ AF and deal with flat hair. LOL.
Its just part of the CG journey lol.

Sounds so familiar! I haven't done my hair today, but boy, can I relate. Trying something, hoping, rewetting, trying something else, hoping, rewetting, giving up after several tries. Recently, I had to go to a play when my hair was a godawful mess and someone I hadn't seen in a while just laughed when she saw my hair. Not funny!

Been there, done that, have the t-shirt .
Sometimes I just have to tell myself to step away from the mirror, leave my poor hair alone and accept that it needs a break.
Trying new stuff can be hard. I try not to do it when I HAVE to be somewhere, but that's not always possible. Just know it will probably be better the next time!
Chin up!!!

I hate when that happens It happens to everyone, though, so try not to let it get you down. And, weirdly enough, sometimes if I try the same new technique again a few weeks later, when the weather is different or something, it works just fine.

You know the weird thing is, now that my hair has dried properly - granted the curls aren't as defined as they would be with KCCC but there is volume and it looks not as bad as it did. Thanks everyone though - I knew it couldn't just be me this happened to. No more chances in the week day mornings tho!

Funny you should mention this. I even thought that myself. Sometimes just leaving it be (even though it just KILLS us) works!
