Long Aid Curl Activator Gel

Has anyone heard of this or used it? I've been using it for about two weeks now and it's the best gel I've ever tried so far.

These are the ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Oleth-20, Triethanolamine, Carbomer 940, Aloe Vera Gel, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Methylparaben.

I'm no poo right now and haven't had any build up. I'm using cone free conditioners and a mousse with a water soluble 'cone. I cowash every other day and use the gel and mousse everyday.

My avatar pix is what my hair looks like after one week of this routine.
I use it all the time - I love it.
Here's a picture of my results using the long aid and ecostyler:

What is it about this gel that you like so much? How is it different from other gels? Where is it available?

I'm interested because I haven't really found a gel I like. I love KCCC but it takes forever to dry.
2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift

I like it because it has aloe and gylcerin. There are no heavy cones or protein.
It doesn't dry my hair out, it doesn't dry sticky or too crunchy. My hair is soft, bouncy but still has shape and my curls have definition. I like that it's 99 cents and I found it at Piggly Wiggly. (I live in Georgia).
Everything Speckla said is also why I like it too.

Just be careful not to use too much as it may make your hair feel slightly sticky - but again - that's only if you use too much.

I also like it because my hair feels conditioned after using it. Other gels tend to make my hair feel dried out, but not this one.

If your hair doesn't need a lot of hold then it should be sufficient alone. But either way the Long aid, in my opinion keeps my hair moisturized and soft. I don't feel guilty using the ecostyler when I use Long aid under it because i feel like it's giving me some added protection.
