Exclamation Cheap shampoos? Please help

I've been cg for awhile now and it's not working for me. Every day I get build-up in my hair and it's a task washing my hair. I currently use Suave Naturals conditioner to co-wash, condition and detangle my hair. I use Herbal essences Totally Twisted for hold.

I use to use the Deva line but it got too expensive for me. Any suggestions?

maby your using too much product, or the wrong product combonation for your hair. my hair love mane and tail, and a bit of gell over that. doesnt mean yours will. keep trying, maby you need to lok for what your hair likes. by the way if your need a low poo for heavier cleansing i can recomend one. I only use mine 1x a month though.

Sally's has great products...

GVP Paul Mitchell The Detangler (16oz) to co wash - $4.99

GVP Conditioning Balm for leave-in (16oz) - $5.99

Volumax Volumizing Gel (32oz) - $8.49

Great Hair - Priceless

Prices are cheaper if you have a Sally's card, plus they send out coupons if you sign up for the card and their mailing list.

Sometimes less is better!

Good luck.

I second the Giovanni for a lo-poo. I like their products.

I usually buy my hair products in TJ MAxx/Marshalls. Clearance section is a source of awesome deals for shampoos/conditioners/styling products.

Right now I'm really liking Avalon Organics Lavender shampoo. It's a really low lather low-poo and I found a liter of it at Costco for under $10.

2A/3A/3B - ranges from weak waves on top to tight ringlets underneath. Fine texture, normal-high porosity, thin density.

Fave products:
Wash: Suave Naturals Coconut, some Abba sulfate free
Conditioner - JC Too Shea, AO GBP
Stylers - JC CC, JC RR, BSRHG

But I have a whole cabinet of other stuff to try out! LOL

Have you every tried the cg friendly vo5's? I alternate between the suave coconut and vo5, sometimes the suave even as cheap as it is feels a little heavy on my fine/thin hair. I've also just started using ecostyler krystal gel after using the HETT gel and it is working out better for me.. it seems lighter. Maybe try switching up your products and see if you get better results.

I agree, I found my HG conditioner at Marshalls a month ago. Tigi Moisture maniac. A 12oz bottle in the regular stores is 11.99. I got a 32oz bottle for 12.99, and it is my favorite go-to conditioner. Also, I did not like Suave naturals, it left a heavy feeling to my hair when i used it to co-wash. I like VO5 Vanilla Mint, it is $1 a bottle at CVS. Keep looking for the products that are right for YOU.
