Smile Hair style help! Going to the salon tomorrow.

Hi all

Im needing some advice. Currently it seems to me that my hair is quite flat on the top of my head and that my curls are becoming waves from the weight of my hair. My hair is currently just below my shoulders, with long layers [see pic]

I have an hair appointment at my salon tomorrow for a restyle and i would love some opinions from you girls and guys before I go please

The first picture is of me and how my hair is now. The rest are pictures of possible styles that I am considering.

Which do you think would be best?

Hope this isn't too late? I like all the styles you chose ALOT. I think you might have the most success with one of the last two. Your hair reminds me a lot of mine and I have the same issues with the top, so I am anxious to see what you come up with for a style. Pictures please after your appointment!?

If yours is like mine, I'm not sure you will get the volume of the first two pics and still keep the curl definition. Just my thoughts!

I vote for the last two as well.

I like them all too, I would love to have curls like pic #2. I think #2 and #3 might be difficult for you to achieve, my hair is like yours and I don't think I could get that volume on top no matter what I did. #5 are probably the best options for you. Regardless, hope you get a great cut that you love, i'm getting mine done today so have that nervous feeling going myself.

Yep, definitely the last 2, although your curl pattern might be a little bit tighter than that, so it might not end up looking quite the same.

I agree with the last ones too. I don't think you'll get the same results of the other cuts with your hair type.

How about something like KKurls? Looks like more layering higher up for volume to release the curls.

Hi

Thank you all for your imput I have been playing around with the idea of shorter layers on the canopy but how much shorter, currently I have about three different lengths in my hair but they are only about 2 inches shorter than each other - did that make any sense?

I am now considering the style below.

That looks very do-able for you! I would have some face-framing layers like she has, at eye level and below. The rest of the layers can be the same or longer in the back, maybe starting at cheek or chin.

Yes - that looks like it'll be the right cut for your hair and for YOU.

Hi

Thank you for all your comments, I think I shall go for the last style that I showed you.

So I will try and get a pic up when it is done.
