egg and mayo and olive oil, oh my!
Well, I tried egg/mayo/olive oil as a DT for my hair.
1 egg, 1T mayo, 2T olive oil
Left it in for 1/2 hour and decided I don't like the smell of egg in my hair.
I had a devil of a time getting it out of my hair - used some Dr. Bronner's Baby Mild Organic Bar soap followed by a little tiny bit (2T) of ACV mixed up in the end of my Burt's Bees baby shampoo (1t).
Hair still smelled of egg. Whole bathroom smelled like egg. Bleah. Left fan on for an hour.
Wet hair was sort of sticky feeling and wanted to clump (in an unattractive way). So I rolled it up and went grocery shopping.
Several hours later I have very soft hair! Some of it is still a bit weird feeling (kind of coated and coarser feeling than I am used to).
I'm looking forward to cowashing tomorrow morning and seeing what I get!
