I almost always use it first thing out of the shower on sopping wet hair before any leave-in or styling products. It adds some weightless moisture, cuts down on frizz, and helps with definition and clumping - it's just generally curl enhancing. I usually use at least 2-3 pumps of Fruit of the Earth clear AVG.
It's also good in a 50% aloe:50% water spray to refresh curls and reactivate product on day 2 and beyond - mist it on (I do it upside down first to get under layers then flip over and do the top) scrunch it in, adding a bit of other product if you think it's needed, allow to totally dry then SOTC.

AVG, did someone call my name? lol. i use it just like Auntnett and i LOVE IT! it is my only "leave in" this summer. every now and again, i'll try another leave in, but this with KCCC is so awesome. i dont have the pump version, but i squeeze about 4 medium size dollops. i use enough that i know its gotten all in my hair. then i scrunch scrunch scrunch.

I would think that with alcohol as the 2nd ingredient and aloe down lower on the list, there is too much alcohol in that one and it would be too drying?

And with alcohol so high up on the list, maybe it's not so good for sunburn, either!
Most people seem to use Fruit of the Earth (easiest to find, I guess). I also use Trader Joe's aloe vera gel -- it's great.

i use FOTE like a lot of the other curlies. i get no crunch at all... its not strong enough for my hair to leave any crunch. but if ur concerned about the crunch, you can plop a little after the u apply the AVG, or just scrunch out any crunch.

As long is it is 100% pure aloe vera gel, you should be fine. If it has any additional ingredients, I wouldn't use it.
Oh and aloe gel should be clear, not green.

It doesn't have enough hold alone for most folks, although I've seen a few who say it's all they use. Just give it a try and see if it works for you.

I did a Dogpile search (includes Google, Bing, Ask, Yahoo, others) and couldn't even find anything on Solar Radiance Aloe Vera Gel . . . .
