Does Anyone Have Blonde Highlights?

Understanding that I'm a fickle pm, I'm currently alternating the CJ Rehab and the DM Deeply Rooted Deep Condish & Hair Repair as DTs.

I love CJCR myself. But I find it richer than JWDT. With my hair I can use these products as leave-ins and not get overconditioned so I am not a good resource for fine haired folks!
I did olive oil overnight followed by a 1 hour DT with heat with CJCR and it REALLY helped my hair--but I need MEGA-moisture!
med/coarse; porous; 2c & 3c
protein sensitive
too much glycerin and some oils give me stringlets

!!! LOVE SPRITZ AND CONDISH !!!!

co-wash: Fructis Body Boost condish
low-poo: miss my LLL Green Tea, CJDF
condish/leave-in: DMLI, Elucense MB, KCKT, JCWDT, CJCR, KBB Deep Condish, Marie Dean, Shescensit GTH
style: faves: KCCC, DMCG, AOMMJ, CGG, Elucence Foam, FSG
DT: JCWDT, CJCR, SS Deep Condish

My CG Journey:

I am blonde which I do every four weeks, first roots and then pull it through to the ends for 15 minutes. My hair is the same porosity and condition than if it wasn't dyed and I still have too much curl -- would like it wavier. I condition before dying and I'll go to my grave a blonde. My mother is 81 and let hers grow out and she absolutely hated it -- she is blonde now again. It all depends on what you want -- I want blonde!!!!

I have a wedding to go to on Sept 19th, so I should get them done in the next week or so! When you say you condition before dying, is that a deep condition the day before, or...?
Thanks for your post, I'd love to hear back from ya!

I just got blonde highlights yesterday and my hair dresser used bleach and tinfoil. It didn't seem to hurt my hair at all and the highlights are amazing! You should definitely get them if you want them and I hope you love them!!!
I've been using one of the Nexuss conditioners the day before and leaving it on under a cap for 15-20 minutes. Before I used those, I was using Kenra (for color treated hair). I think any deep treatment that you leave on for a while will give the hair extra strength. I do not wash mine for at least 48 hours after coloring. I will rinse it with water though -- have to let the color set.
