I'm using AG recoil curl reactivator + fructese curly gel spray. I really like AG, but I need to something else for better hold. I find that by mid day, my hair no longer has the volume I started out with in the morning.

I use suave natural coconut as cowash and Jessicurl gentle shampoo 1-2x/week.
3a, med texture, normal/high porosity.

Any advise to additional products?

My hair generally prefers the more natural products--examples in my signature. I also rotate products, seldom using any one product more then twice a week.

You may want to start with a hard(er) hold gel. While I don't care for it, BRHG is probably the most popular hard hold gel. Others are ABBA Pure Finish and Giovanni LA Natural.

I keep my volume using Volumax Volumizing Gel from Sally's. It has nice hold and is easy to sotc.
