oh oh oh I bet I know!! Shaving cream! Or shaving lotion or something like that.

I have a shaving cream that I've been using for a conditioner occasionally heh. The ingredients are very similar.

ok, here's the answer to the mystery product: it's a horse hair rebuilder/strengthener. I have a question into the manufacturer about the dimethicone copolyol as they advertise silicone free products but there are huge threads online of people who use this stuff as their HG product....

One of the conditioners in my rotation is from one of those "romance party" at home kinda deals. Its more like a shaving lotion, and there is no alcohol in it whatsoever. Its in a squeeze tube. Its great for shaving! no razor burn.

They don't have the ingredients listed on the website, but its very similar to the ones you listed. The keratin is much lower on the list though. I'm so not posting the name in a general thread, but I'll tell you if you PM me.

so to answer my own question about this ingredient, here's the answer from a CurlChemist article " What's the Scoop on Silicones?"
Quote:
Silicone-dimethicone copolyol
Water Soluble?-Yes
Recommended Cleansing Agents-cocamidopropyl betaine, cocobetaine, other mild surfactants, or conditioner washing
If I try it, I'll keep everybody updated on what happens with it.
