Default roller jaw clamps

Has anyone tried these? I saw them on frizzoff.com. They looked great, so I ordered. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with them.
TIA, Tanya

I use them in place of clipping for lift at the root. I love using them because I am clipping challenged. These grab a bunch of hair or me and are really easy to take out with out pulling my curls apart. These were definitely one of my better buys!

I'm the same...can't clip worth a darn. But these work great! I just used them for the first time and got great lift!

I bought these about 6 mo. ago before I was a more committed CG. I tried them a couple of times, but found they gave me weird lift. I'm wondering if they will work better now that I'm not torturing my curls with the bad stuff? I'm really enjoying FSG and experimenting with it. Maybe I should try them again while using FSG. My curls appear to cascade much better now so maybe no weirdness. Do you all just randomly put the clips in or in a more strategic pattern?

Kinda random. I clip along the top and randomly down from there.

I've had absolutely no luck with these. I don't know if I'm not doing it right, or if my hair's too thin, but I just gave up and went back to duckbill clips. It's more hassle, but they do work better for lift. For me anyway. I hate that, after spending the money for them. Maybe someone could post a pic or two?????

Me, too - must be only more curly ones that they work well for.

I have a dozen and I've tried them every which way on dry, damp and wet hair, and they just haven't ever worked particularly well. They give me weird bunches, regardless of the quantity of clamps used, and straighten the roots out too much.

I have very curly hair, but I haven't had any luck either with these clips. I tried placing them randomly the other day, but still had "weird bunches". I'm going to try lifting a loop at the root next time and see if that helps.
