Default Are there any great (adjustable) headbands that work well in the wind?

Actually...I'm looking for something for my toddler girl, but I was reluctant to post this in the 'parents of curlies' board since the response rate there usually seems rather low.

What I'm looking for doesn't necessarily have to be for toddlers...it can be a "one size fits all" type of thing.

Where I live is awful windy most of the time, and I can't take her to the park without her hair becoming a complete mess within 5 minutes of being at the playground.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I like these because you can wear two or more and space them out. They're stretchy but do not feel tight and they stay put. I got them at a local dollar store. I like to wear colors that match my outfits.

If you're ever at Lululemon, I think they still have these great steady-grip headbands that cannot be shifted from one's hair by even gale-force winds. They are called Pirouette Headbands. Always my first choice if I really need my headband to stay put.

Right now: growing hair past shoulder-length, looking to take decent hair picture (my avatar is my first day of CG).

It was the Dollar Tree but I'm sure any general dollar store, Walmart, or Pharmacy would have them. These are also great for holding back bangs that are growing out.

...where is that?

Anyway, thanks all. Oh...I forgot to mention that what I was originally looking for in a headband is that it's adjustable (which is what prompted me to start this thread..), but I now have an idea of what to do to adjust it myself (like, maybe ponytail the end of the headband itself...)

Oh, do you not live in the US, Australia or Canada?
