Default Just started modified CG (low-poo)... having some trouble.

So for my new routine, I got Devacurl Low-poo and OneCondition, and for my gel, I use Devacurl Angell. (used it a long time ago, it never worked, but I thought I would try it again with my new CG routine.)

However, Angell makes my hair sticky while it's wet, and also makes it frizzy. Also, I get little to no volume out of it. What product(s) can I get to get rid of frizz and all that?

On a side note, I don't want to have super curly hair, I'd rather have it be super wavy than super curly. Oh, and it's only my second day of CG.

You may find that you need to try other products. Deva products have a love/hate relationship around here. Many of us start with them, then find other products we like much better.

My hair always ends up sticky, and frizzy; is that a result of not enough protein? or not enough moisture?

Could be either or both. Have you figured out your hair's texture and porosity. There are lots of threads in the newby forum that you can read. Also, Struttswife's (aka Tiffany) blog and ebook are a good read. The ebook helps determine your hair characteristics and how to select product/ingredients based on that.
