I'm going nuts!

Ok ladies, I need some help. I have been sitting here trying to understand my hair for the longest. Every time I think I understand...wrong.
My hair is fine/medium texture and porous (I THINK).
When I do a protein DT my hair feels wonderful after.
I have this large area on the back of my head towards the top (canopy) that is very very puffy, frizzy and LOOKS dry. It is actually soft though. Sooo I thought it would be from over conditioning. The rest of my hair aside from that patch is in good condition. If I am over conditioning what should I do? I don't think I'm protein sensitive since when I put any protein in my hair it does not get straw like but instead gets very soft. I use the GVP Joico K-pak for my DT. How often should I do this if I'm over conditioned? Is a tiny drop of jojoba oil good for my hair as a leave in? ANY suggestions would be of great help. Thank you ladies! Sorry if I sound a bit dumb...just on system overload w/ allllllll the pages of reading here. :)

If you're over conditioned a low poo will take care of it pretty quick for you. Lots of people have problems with that particular spot on the head. I dunno what it is about that location. Probably gets the most wear and tear I guess with sleeping and what not.

About a week ago I tried the AO shampoo. I didn't like the way it made my hair feel at all! It felt so dry and squeeky after I used it. What would be a good one to use?

I think that would work.
