Default Guess who is getting a hair cut tomorrow.

Yep, ME! Lol, and I am nervous. It's more of a trim but I may ask for layers as my hair is weighed down a bit. But I wear a headband all the time so I am not sure how layers will be.

Wish me luck

Ooh! Enjoy it! I'm still about a month away from my next trim and I am counting the seconds, so believe me I understand your excitement!

It's still wet but here are some pictures.

I went to Liquid Hair Studios and saw Derek. I got to say this was the best stylist experience I have ever had. The place is very funky and unique, but they are all very friendly. Derek sat me down and told me to tell him about my hair and he listened intently. I went for my shampoo and back into his seat. He didn't do anything until I told him what I wanted. He was very informative as well. He told me about my density, texture and so on. He also knew about shampoo being harsh and what is damaging for curly hair and what is not. He has curly hair himself and it looks fabulous. Derek was also very funny. We had a good talk about our cats.

All in all he treated my hair as thought it were a piece of art. I was also glad he told me I have grade A hair. He also supported the curly look, he told me blowing it out is so boring and a waste of time. And that I should strive for long, elegant curls.

I'm so jealous. It's gorgeous! I can't wait until I find a good stylist.
