I checked at Dollar Tree yesterday. The only Personal Care brand they had was in the dandruff shampoo. I don't know if that was the last of that brand, or brand new and the only one they have in stock so far. I'll keep an eye out for the balm though.
co-wash - Suave Naturals Coconut
condish - Trader Joe's TTT and Refresh
styling - FOTE, shea butter, jojoba oil, LA Looks

Kryptonite: Stearalkonium Chloride, quats
I was in Dollar Tree about an hour ago and they have these products. They say on the bottle that they are a "compare to biolage conditioning balm" type thing. they also have a couple Paul Mitchell products.

I have the same generic bottles from my dollar store here in CA. I bought the PM The Conditioner and the PM Heat Seal spray at another store. I needed a leave in condish and PM Conditioner worked without weighing my hair down , a week later i went to the dollar store and picked up the generic brands of the PM and Biolage and luv them! I have used generic brands before. I find they work just the same as expensive salon brands if not better.

Score!! So excited to find a knock-off of a $16 bottle for $1! Can't wait to try it!

If I'm still on first week of CG (keeping it simple) should I try the CB AND DT at the same time? We've had rainy weather in Georgia for days and my hair is crazy frizzy so I am anxious to fix it!
I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but here's a pic of the bottle.

I have used the original Biolage and I loved it. It repaired my hair after my bad experience with henna.

I bought the dollar store brand and Sally's GVP brand.

The dollar store brand does not have the same color and texture of the original and GVP (don't know if I got a bad batch??). It is milky in color and almost gel like in texture. It doesn't have any slip. My hair felt like hay after it dried. I will not be using this again.

The GVP is white, thick and creamy like the original. It has more slip than the dollar store brand and as much slip as the original. I just used the GVP tonight and I am waiting for my hair to dry before I say that I like it as much as the original. But, so far so good.

Styler: Long Aid Curl Activator

Dislikes: Proteins (except occasional Silk protein), Cones, Oils
Has anyone else used the $1 version with success? It's the only one I've gotten, so no comparisons from me. It's a tad on the light side and I need something heavier to weight down the mucho crazy hair!
Coarse, thiiiick, porous, drrrry, 2c, dislikes proteins, likes ACV!
Suave or V05 for co-wash, Garnier Nutrise triple nutrition and sleek & shine, Matrix Biolage conditioning balm, FSG and LA Looks sports gel.
The GVP from sallys is definitely not "light", it's pretty thick and so awesome.
$5 off first order at iherb use code KEY066
Bump! Trying to get current opinions of these generic brand condishs that can be found at the Dollar Tree stores here in CA (I don't know if the DT is located outside of CA).
The brand is "Personal Care Salon Professional" and I've seen 3 lines at the DT: shampoos and conditioners that are "comparable" to Paul Mitchell, Nexxus, and Biolage. Of course, I'm most interested in feedback on the conditioners since the shampoos have sulfates in them.

Appreciate any reviews. Since they are just a buck, I'm sure I'll be picking up at least the Biolage knockoff, and I have the nongeneric condish to compare it to, so I'll post something in a week or so. But would love to see what everyone thinks.
That's me with FSG as my styler!!

3b. fine & thick, coarse, dry, medium porosity. Sucks up product and loves ACVs! FSG is my HG!

Currently using:
Low Poo: TJ's Refresh No Poo: CoWash w/VO-5; Sonoma Soap Company sulfate-free poo
RO: Yes to Cuc; SSC Lavender Condish; Sally GVP LI: Donna Marie Miracle D&C
Style: FSG w/Aussie Instant Freeze & CIAB
Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm is the same product whether it's in a tube or tub; and, yes, it's the product all the others are knock offs of, though many of the knock offs have different ingredients.
Peace,
Morgan

Baby Fine 3B, low porosity, normal density and elasticity

Thanks, Morgan. I have the original that all these others are knock offs of. I'm actually trying to get current reviews of the Dollar Tree knock off - the one EmberCeleste included a photo of in her post. (TeeJay seems to have had a poor experience with it, but her review is from 2009.)
If anyone has tried this, or the other knockoffs in this same line, I'd love to hear about that. Thanks!
