International Curly Day Challenge!!!

Hi Curlies!

Happy almost International Curly Day! I was thinking a lot about this website and how it changed my life, and was also thinking about all the other curlies out there who haven't found out how to embrace their beautiful, natural curls. So I decided to create a challenge (because, really, who can resist a challenge?

) for everybody who would like to pass on the wisdom of this site in hopes that more people will be able to put down their flat iron and be their true selves.

Here's the deal:

If you embrace your curls... convince one (or more!!) curly to go on nc.com and to go CG (show them the Before and After Pics to convince them!)

OR

If you haven't... go CG or modified-CG on International Curly Day

Make this a pledge to others or yourselves. Post your success stories on this thread (with pictures of your hair and your friends or strangers on International Curly Day, of course) and change the lives of "in the closet" curlies.

HAVE FUN!!! and spread the curly love...

I have been thining about today soo much!! I even had this on my MSN!! lol lol!! Wanted to comb an afro today but sank into getting canerows/cornrows!! I have been doing CG but not strict CG!! My hair is soo fine and the curls range from 3 somthing to 4a!! It's wierd!! Anyway I would post pics but I don't really have before n after pics!! I found about about CG while I was transitioning so I dived head first into trying it!!

Today I had one of my friends promise me that she would go on nc.com (I don't really know her that well, so I couldn't exactly tell her: you need to go CG! your hair needs moisture! stop damaging it!

), and my next project is my little sister. I'll post pics of her hair when I'm done with it! Good luck you guys!

I helped someone yesterday with product's to start CG and I gave a wavy/curly the nc.com website today--although neither is CG yet--Does that count?

All told in my office and outside of it in my organization I've got 4 curlies to go CG themselves, one grandma/mom (both work with me) to go CG for their two grandkids/kids who are mixed and my daughter.

Actually my daughter tried to get her dad to go CG yesterday and I almost bust a gut laughing. He told her he was going to shave his head again and she told him perhaps he wouldn't need to if he had the right conditioner with some good slip.

I put it on my facebook page and a couple of my friends already asked about it. So I threw out the nc.com site and told them it's great info and how much I've embraced my curls!
