Out of the house hair

I swear my hair knows when I want it to look good and then refuses to cooperate. This week I have to go into the office for 3 days. Today I do not and I am on the way to a great hair day. What do you want to bet that the 3 days I am going into the office my hair will look like the crap? I know it's part routine-it changes a bit when I go into the office but not a lot really. Other than letting it dry in the car with the blower slightly blowing on it - that is really the only change. I think it does it to piss me off. Yep,,,,my hair knows. I am sure of it!!

Hahaha - EXACT same problem. A few days ago after my DT it dried beautifully. Today I have several places to go and it's all flat and frizzy at the same time so I brushed it straight and put it up. WTF. I swear it knows and it's out to get me...lol.

My hair's hatred of going to work has been well-documented.

It is a conspiracy. Do not presume otherwise!

This happens to me all the time! When I want it to look good (like for our family picture, hint hint) it looks horrid. When I don't care if it looks good or bad because I am not going anywhere and no one is coming over it looks awesome. Our hair knows. It senses it. It doesn't like us.
Cleanser: Liquid Castile Soap diluted in a foaming soap dispenser
Rinse:
ACV rinse
Detangler/Conditioner:
Oyin Handmade Greg Juice or Juices and Berries
Stylers: Botticelli Botanicals Styling Mudd, KCCC, Honey Rinses and BRHG, Crack Leave-in Hair Cream when straightening

Tools: Silk pillowcase, Floursack towels, Jersey T-Shirts, Wide Tooth Comb, Velecta Paramount TGR-VQX Hair Dryer (for when I straighten) and BaByliss PRO Ionic Rollabout Hard Hat Dryer
The worst is when you go for a dry hair cut. I remember the first time I did it, my stylist told me on the phone to come with my hair looking like it usually does. I remember I used the same products and techniques I'd been using with success for several days very consistently, and the day of the cut, my hair looked horrendous. I think my hair is still mad at me for all the sun, chlorine, sulfates, silicones, flat irons, round brushes, razor cuts, etc etc that it has been subjected to in its life and this is it's way of getting revenge.

Yep, the hair most definitely knows! What ALWAYS happens to me is my hair will look like total crap for days when I really need to get to the stylist. On the day of my appointment, without fail, my hair will look absolutely perfect and lead me to believe that I should cancel my appointment. If I did that, you know what would happen? You guessed it - butt ugly hair again! My hair not only knows, it's a spiteful hussy!

Yeah, I know what you mean. But it happens for me with clumping. It could be a random day and my hair looks great (I mostly go product free nowadays, need to get to Sallys).. but when I want it to clump.. it starts splitting and frizzing.. and man it's a disaster.

My problem is when i did my hair for the day and really want second day hair, i try and "protect" it all day long and especailly at night time....you can forget it! No second day hair. Now when my hair has been blown around all day, pulled back, squashed on, caught between the purse strap, night around town with the girls, played with by my fingers and everyone elses fingers, bedtime comes not giving a care in the world about my hair, i get the most fabulous second day hair ever!!!!
