So how many threads are you subscribed to?

I just reached 100 threads that I'm subscribed to. My intention is to go back and re-read them at a later date and possibly do more research on the subject in the thread (just didn't feel like it at the moment I ran across the thread). I use to save them in my favorites but it seems like every time a change was made to the board, none of the bookmarked threads would reopen ....so now I just subscribe to the threads that interest me.

How many threads are you subscribed to?

I wonder if there is a limit as to how many you're allowed to subscribe to?

I don't manage subscribed threads. That is, I don't actively subscribe to threads. So these are the threads that I've supposedly posted to. There might be more, maybe in archives? Not sure how it works.

A lot of them are realllllllly old though.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
I go to my subscriptions and "delete" every few days to keep them at a more manageable level--especially if I'll be away for a few days. There are threads where I'll post an answer to someone; however, I'm really not interested in it on an ongoing basis. If it hasn't had any action in a few days--I delete. May read it in new posts when I come across it.

I don't seem to be being subscribed every time I post. The only ones i have in my subscriptions are the ones I consciously chose to be there by clicking the box where it says: Thread Subscription.

That's confusing!

me too, every day I check my subscribed threads and it's always below 10 even if I feel like I'm posting up a storm. I also don't see older thread subscriptions, only new ones. I figured out how to see all my subscribed threads..

User CP, then Subscribed Threads then List Subscriptions.

I have a total of 108 subscribed threads right now.

For anyone who's interested, you can change whether or not you're automatically subscribed to threads you post in by going into User CP, choose Edit Options, and change the setting under "Default Thread Subscription Mode."

If there's some secret to your bookmarking method, please let me know!

Jusduit, I haven't started to do this yet, but I will let you know how it works out. I know people on other forums have mentioned they bookmark rather than subscribe so I wonder if other people have that error messae happen when they bookmark.

The best thing about the subscriptions (for me anyway) is that you can see all at once if anything new has been added to any of the topics you subscribe to, without having to actually go to any of the threads. I love that.

ETA: Well, actually what I do is go to "Quick Links" drop down menu > "Subscribed Threads." That's the fastest way I've found to do it.
