Default embracing my hair without styling products

A surgery in my scalp has left me unable to do my normal curly girl method...so I'm using a light shampoo (doctor's orders to clean part of the wound) and then ample amounts of my favorite conditioners. I cannot use gel and must pull my hair back off my scar. I also cannot dry or diffuse my hair, and due to pain and the inability to flip upside down, I cannot plop.

After a week of going au natural (aka, no gel or styling products), my hair is much less frizzy and I'm starting to embrace my natural hair with pretty thick ringlets. I think my hair is finally healthy. That is thanks to the month or more using the curly girl method!

It too, wait for that magical moment when my hair can go out on its own without it's training wheels <3

I hope your scar heals up nice/you feel better. Maybe you'll get a cool white streak like Rouge in X-men

I hope you'll feel better soon.It is good for our hair to ''breath(no styling products)'' once in a while.
