I've been CG since last Friday, I'm still a bit confused as to how to tell whether my hair needs protein or moisture, I know that it needs a balance between the two but how do I know if its lacking in protein?
So this is what I was thinking of doing tonight -
- egg yolk mask - 2 egg yolks with EVOO leave it on for bout half an hour
- bicarbonate of soda wash (2tbsp of bicarb mixed in with my co wash?)
Deep condition with Naked Shine Glossing Hair Treatment (these are the Ingredients:
Aqua, Cetearyl alcohol, Brassicamidopropyl dimethylamine, Glycerin, Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, Dicaprylyl carbonate, Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Aspartic acid, Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, Dicaprylyl ether, Lauryl alcohol, Parfum, Panthenol, Jojoba wax PEG-120 esters, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Citric acid, Limonene, Benzyl benzoate, Hexyl cinnamal, Linalool.)
Then a Cider Vinegar rinse - 1/2 cup of cider vinegar with 2 cups water?
Is that enough or too much? Do you think this will give my hair a protein boost if it needs it and rebalance it okay?
Do my measurements sound okay?
I'd really like to give my hair a boost as its been through a lot recently and I'm pretty new to the CG method and using natural ingredients.
