Ulta store employees

I stopped in Ulta today to buy the DevaFuser (finally!).
I haven't been in there in ages. I noticed that EVERY single woman who worked in there looked like she flat ironed her hair. Is that a job requirement to work there or something? They all had had the same super-straight dark hair, around shoulder length. It was kind of creepy.

I had a coupon for $3.50 off. Of course tonight I just went through the Sunday paper and found a 20% off coupon...sigh...

I haven't been to Ulta, but my Charlotte Russe has the 'freckled skinny girl with the shiny dark straighten hair with the side-swept bangs and shoulder length cut'

It wasn't until I was trying on my second pair of boots that I realized that they were three different people.

Ewwww....just ick. Ick. My son was scared of one ladies eyebrow's as they looked so fake he thought they were bugs! She looked like some 65 year old movie star with too many plastic surgeries. And she was nowhere near 65 from what I could see. Sad really.

But yes I can say I have never seen a curly or wavy employee at Ulta. Surely they exist but not in my neck of the woods!

Do you all have Beauty First in your cities? We have two stores here in Louisville and I've seen a few employees with curly hair (both mixed race). Two of the hairstylists have tight curly hair. I've always found them to be pretty accepting, even if they don't always give me great advice on products. We have an Ulta but I've never been to it.
I, too, went to buy a Devafuser a week or so ago, but I had the opposite experience, at least with the girl at the checkout counter! She had beautiful curly hair and just raved about the Deva products! Certainly made me confident of my purchase (which I love, BTW!).

I was there yesterday and I noticied the same thing, but there was a day I really wanted my hair to look like that....finally starting to embrace my curlies...only took me 40+ years!!

With the exception of one 4a who only worked there for a short time, all of the Ulta employees at my Ulta are flat ironed, and you can tell by the frazzled ends. The "older" over 30 ones also wear too much makeup trying to look younger. I just figured it was some sort of rule.
