Default Products that you only need a tiny amount of....

I'm looking for curl enhancers and gels for hold that you only need a tiny amount of. What I'm finding is that my hair feels cleaner longer when I use less product, so then I don't have to wash as often.

For example, I love homemade FSG, but I have to use a lot of it, and then the next day my hair feels dirty. I'd like to find something that works great in small amounts.

Thanks for your help!

A lot of people say they only need about a pea-sized amount of AG Re:coil. It's a curl enhancer. I need a lot more because I have so much hair, but you might look into that.

I agree that too much product makes the hair feel dirty. I put in some leave-in conditioner...and to me, that does the trick. On windy days, I add hairspray. I find that less is more with me.
I use my leave-in as my leave-in + curl cream.
You might want to try less products (if you already layer your products) and see if you really can do without something. It's all trial and error, really.

Good luck!

I use minute amounts of many of the "richer" products. Almost anything Curl Junkie or Komaza would fit that description.

When I had waist-length hair, I used to use about 2-3 quarter sized blobs of LA Looks Sport Gel for hold.
