Plop Loosely or Tightly??
Just wondering which you think is better, or have found is better...
if I do it loosely my hair falls out.. but maybe i"m just not that skilled at the "loose plop?"
I've done it both ways. Both are good but have different results. When I do it tightly I have to use clips at my roots, otherwise my hair ends up plastered to my skull, and I get flathead when it dries. However, my curls are a lot tighter and springier. When I do it loosely I don't need clips. My curls aren't as tight, but I end up with some sexy, full hair!

I have long hair, so if I plop tightly it flattens my curls. I do it loosely, which is much easier in my turban. It holds on securely without being tight.
I do it about medium. Too tight and my hair is flat and too loose and the darned thing won't stay on.

Never really thought about it, but I guess I do it more on the 'tight' side, although not too tight. My hair is long and I feel like plopping doesn't do me any good if I make it too loose. I want it to absorb the excess moisture, so making it a bit tighter will do that for me. :)

I use a turban, so there's a lot of room on the top, but it's tight around my head. It I do it too loosely, it falls off when I get pounced on by a dog. :?
I do it tightly to soak up the excess water. My hair's so arned thick, it doesn't flatten at all!
I couldn't really figure out how to respond to the poll. I use a Curl-Ease towel. It's fairly tight around my forehead, but not so tight on the top where my hair is piled.
