Scent Suggestions for Homemade Flax Seed Gel needed

I made my own flax seed gel yesterday (blog post will be here by tonight) and I like it a lot, but I wasn't happy with the way the sweet orange essential oil smelled. I think it didn't play well with the agave nectar smell. So I'm looking for suggestions for other essential oil scents, especially some that play well with agave nectar

I used lavender, but not everyone likes that smell I found that one or two drops was enough. Its also good because it has antiseptic properties.

I used lavender in my homemade FSG. I made it before I ordered grapefruit seed extract and vitamin e (which I plan on putting in my next batch). I read a lot of other curlies' FSG didn't last too long in the fridge... I must have made it over a month ago and it's still good (in the fridge of course).

I need to try it again on wet hair... I was using it on second day hair and I was getting super frizzy by the end of the day.

My favorites are spearmint (sweeter than peppermint) and grapefruit -- very mild.
