Goodbye Curl Keeper, Hello Curl Fix

My new CJ Daily Fix and Curl Fix came yesterday! I used the Daily Fix...love it...then Curl Fix as rinse out and LI, topped it off with CIAB and a dab of BRHG. Wow! I am so glad you posted about this whatsercurl! Another winning combo for sure! whatser and kathymack, you were definitely right about the aloe in these products not being a problem. I am really loving Curl Junkie and the service is great. My order arrived in 7 days and that included getting through a horrible blizzard that we had here on Sunday/Monday. Thanks again for this...I really appreciate it...you all are great ladies!

Then it hit me...when I was a teen, a friend gave me some perfume called "Wicked Wahine" that's it! LOL, I used to love that stuff. Enjoy your PT AJJ!

I tried a lima bean sized blob as a leave-in and got a bunch of frizz and undefined curls..... should I try a palmful?...it seems heavy. I did like on dry hair to smooth and define. I think this will work best as a DT for me. Gardenias are the only flower that makes me nauseous; it is really strong!

And I tend to hate floral but for some reason I don't even notice it in this product. As angel mentioned, it's more tropical to me.

I've tried it with CIAB overtop, mixed with CCCC Lite, and with just regular ol' LA Looks gel (no other styling product). I think I tried it with CK when I first got it also.

I've been raking into my hair then scrunching the other product(s) over top. Today I tried scrunching it only. Still drying so I'll have to wait and see how that turns out.

I used to have long hair; maybe I need to find a pic of a dog with shorter ears!

I got my order in of the CF and CCCC lite, and so far I love it. I used my Biolage gelee over top and have tons of nice curls, but a little frizz too. I might try it with CIAB tomorrow and see how that works for me. But, at first impression, these are great!!

You may find the CIAB will give you better frizz control but depending on how strong your curl pattern is you may need a little BG over top as well.

Now that I seem to be getting my winter balance (protein vs moisture) right, my curl pattern is very strong (like in the summer) and I don't seem to need gel.

I have a lot more volume than normal with these products, so that's a huge plus for me and my flat head! LOL I'll see how the CIAB does, but be prepared to add some gel to on top.

Ok, I tried this today as a leave in. I combined it with CCCC lite and put in pretty wet hair. Then I used my curlease to get out some of the water and then I scrunched in a combo of DOC/BHRG. I then scrunched a bit more with my curlease and moved on to diffusing. I am not sure this will work for me as a leave-in/styling product. My hair is kinda tangly looking and not very defined curls. It almost made my hair feel dry when I applied it-like it sucked up the water I had in my hair-odd. Great volume though. I will definitely use as a protein treatment though

I have no doubt it will be fantastic as a protein treatment which my hair loves. So not a loss at all if it does not work as leave-in/styling product.
