Wink Loving It So Far

I have been using the Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture for 4 days so far. I have done 2 co-washes and 2 days of just conditioning. Usually by now my hair is weighed down and I need to use a mild shampoo. My hair is a very fine 3a, very dry and damages very easy. I have been putting the conditioner on my hair for 4 days in a row to see how badly it would weigh down or dry it out. So far so good. Usually I co-wash day 1, water wash day 2 and condition the ends day 3 and day 4 usually I just have to see how it is looking sometimes I can co-wash, sometimes water wash and then sometimes I have to low-poo. I use Eco-styler with olive oil as a gel. It rinses out well with just water. Though if my morning hair looks half decent all I do is spray with vinegar water. I haven't needed to go anywhere this week so am experimenting with this conditioner. In the summer I plan to try the volumizing version of this one.

Good eye L.L.! I was jumping up and down, because no glycerin. The isopropyl, slid right past! WT?

I'm not sure about Target. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for 4.88, and its a pretty large bottle.

I just saw this at Target yesterday.

I was so tempted to buy it but I still have a half bottle of Garnier 3 nutrition.

I am in need of a new cowash though... my vo5 just ran out....

Is this tresseme better as a cowash or as a main conditioner?

Default Been using Tresemme Naturals for 2 weeks now.....

Started CG about a month ago. Saw the Tresemme two weeks ago. Use it as my cowash, which I do about every 3rd to 4th day depending on my hair and its general condition. I love this stuff! Great slip, light scent, makes my hair feel like the "wet sea weed" that the book says it is supposed to feel like after conditioning. Was not heavy enough to use as my daily conditioner (use Nature's Gate Chamomile Replenish for colored hair for that), but that is the only draw back. Took it to my hair dresser for her to use to "wash" my hair with. She was impressed! I really like it, but I know I am new to this.

Hair type: 3b/3c I have decided. Long, thick, coarse, high porosity and good elasticity despite hair coloring.

Thumbs up

On a whim, I bought the moisturizing condish yesterday at the discounted CVS price and used it this morning as a cowash. I was pleasantly surprised! There are very few inexpensive conditioners that provide me with the amount of slip I need for my tangles and this one does the job. It was thick enough to easily distribute through my hair and felt slippery like a conditioner with silicones does. I'm looking forward to using this one in rotation.

I decided to give this stuff (the moisturizing one) another try as a rinse-out. Gave me dry limp hair for a week, so I think I'm gonna switch this to being a co-wash conditioner (seems like that's what most people are doing anyway) and start using something a little richer for the rinse-out.

I switched to AOWC this morning and my curls instantly perked up. Reminds me of the value of a good rinse-out!

Default Not-so-Natural Tresemme

How many times have you bought a product that stated ‘with natural ingredients’ or ‘contains 100% organic ingredients’ and you believed all ingredients in that product to be completely natural and/or 100% organic? Are you aware that some additives or synthetic products can cause harm? Are you informed regarding label laws in your country? I am fed up with manufacturers trying to mislead the consumer. Become a conscious consumer – research; read the label and make an informed choice on all your purchases. Turns out - Tresemme Naturals are not so natural - see Care2.com for more info.

I can't speak for others on this thread, but I'm completely aware that the ingredients in the Tresemme Naturals conditioners are not 100% natural. They may not be 50% natural...I really have no idea about that percentage and I'm not concerned with it. I tried this conditioner because it is a silicone free product - not because it claims to be natural or organic.

I didn't think that it was moisturizing enough for a rinse out but will try it out as a co-wash. It's a good price so I'm willing to try it out.

This continues to be a very poor leave-in, but I can use it as a rinse-out IF rotated. I need to use it in between two showers with strong, heavy rinse-outs.

But I'd repurchase, especially on sale.

I'm loving the tresemme stuff! I tried the silicone free conditioner and it was wonderful. Provided me with everything I'm looking for slip, moisture, etc. I haven't bought the silicone free shampoo yet. I think I may try some other products from the new line also. Tresemme is a keeper for me!!!!!

Very excited to try it!!! I use to be a huge tress fan before finding this site... however, I had a lot of hair loss, more so than regular, from using tress curly shampoos and conditioners... Once i stopped using so much or at all, hair fell out at a normal rate lol So, question... anyone finding this to be a problem with this line they came out with?! Or could it be because of all the silicons and sulfates in the others?! hmmm... any thoughts?! Thanks!
