Silicone-free conditioners from Tresemme (Tresemme Naturals)

Okay, I tried the moisture nourishing one last night and I must say I was very impressed. Now, I did do a deep conditioning with GVP CB, which is super moisturizing on my particular hair. So I don't know if that was a factor or not. However, I did get a great deal of slip and it was a seaweed type of feeling to my hair. I used it as a rinse-out and not as a leave-in as I am trying to get rid of the HEHH that I purchased a couple weeks ago (wish I hadn't since the smell is so strong).

I am leary of trying it as a leave-in since the consensus is its better as a rinse-out. We'll see. I only used it once so who knows in the long run.

Oh, I'm 3b/c, fine to medium hair with normal porosity.

I like the moisture one as a rich co-wash (I have super-dry hair that can't overcondition, so YMMV). Actually works really well for me - it'd be perfect with a teeny bit of protein in it.
3b/c. Fine, med-high porosity, normal elasticity. Hair loves oils in summer, protein in winter. Constantly battling the hard water monster.

Favourites:
CJ Curl Theory, Curl Rehab, Smoothing, Curl Fix, Daily Fix, CCCC, CIAB, CQ, SSCC, MC shampoo, Inecto Pure Coconut Oil, CP luscious curl creme (summer), DB Pumpkin Seed (summer), FD/MT, JCWDT, JCTS

I used Tresemme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner several times now, and I think wins the "Best Vaule" co-wash award imho.

I have dry hair and find it moisturizing &
There is a good deal of slip, Making it great for co-washing.

I used it co-wash out my Amla Paste, DT, and it was wonderful, so if you use ayurvedic powers, its great to help rise them out of your hair.

Next: I'm going to try it as a leave-in, I just take conditoner ( usually TJ noruish or YTCucumbers) and add some aloe juice & oil to it. So I'll report back on how it goes.

I'm trying out a Tresemme Naturals spray right now, and am still wondering if I will see results.
I don't know about the conditioner, but I read the ingredients and it's like product god. No cones, hardly any alcohol, fruit extract (duh, naturals) basically, there were no ingredients that could potentially hurt the hair.

Everyone seems to not hate it.

I guess I'll post again and say how it works out. Good luck to anyone trying the conditioner as a leave-in.
I have been using the moisturizing one for about two weeks now and I like it a lot. It is nice and thick, which means I don't need to use as much as I do with other conditioners. And it smells great.
co-wash: exact vanilla
rinse out: tresseme naturals
leave-in: giovanni direct leave-in
stylers: kccc + he totally twisted mousse + coconut oil to sotc
Any 2's tried this yet? I need a cheaper conditioner and I'm worried about too much slip.
2B low porosity low elasticity fine texture
I'm not CG - tried it and failed for two years. My scalp hates it.

So far I've tried the moisturizing conditioner and I really like it! The scent is milder than the other Tresemme conditioners that I've smelled, and that's a big plus. I like it better than the Garnier Triple Nutrition conditioner.

Deodand, if you're concerned about too much slip you might want to try the Volumizing one first. Just a suggestion :-)
I was in walmart yesterday picking up a prescription really quickly, and saw the new naturals line - HOW EXCITING, can't WAIT to try it!!

and all for relatively cheap?! LOVE IT ALREADY! haha

Also, I'm super intrigued by the waterless foam shampoo, dry shampoo, and the shine spray!

Do you think I could use the foam one when my hair is curly and the spray one when my hair is straight??

I am in need of a new cowash though... my vo5 just ran out....

Is this tresseme better as a cowash or as a main conditioner?

The Tresemme (tresemme.com) website has all the new information about their new products up, if anyone is interested. There's a dry shampoo, for those who might be interested (I imagine this would be our finer haired wavies?).

I am sooooo in love with Tresemme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner I don't know what to DO with myself. I am addicted to the conditioner. I've been using it for a while now and I am totally impressed. I don't use silicones in my hair and so I definitely was dying to try this out since it's cone-free.

For me it blows Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Cream Conditioner and the GF Sleek & Shine out of the water as far as a leave-in. Given, I will still use them for my deep treatments because they works wonders in that regard.

With the Tresemme Naturals Conditioner...I love how thick it is.. I use it as a leave-in after my daily wash n go and goodness gracious.. my hair stays soft and moisturized all darn day! Plus I like the smell which is a big deal for me because I get a headache very easily from various smells.

I even gave the Tresemme Naturals low sulfate shampoo a try and I was suprised because I am usually VERY anti-sulfate for my hair. But it didn't leave my hair super dry nor did it jack up my curls. It just left a nice clean feeling on my hair. I wouldn't use a sulfate shampoo regularly but if I had to choose one..this one didn't bother me.

And well you just can't beat the great price point with this line. You can get a HUGE bottle for like less than 5 bucks at Walmart!

Tresseme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner is now a staple for me.
I decided to give this stuff (the moisturizing one) another try as a rinse-out. Gave me dry limp hair for a week, so I think I'm gonna switch this to being a co-wash conditioner (seems like that's what most people are doing anyway) and start using something a little richer for the rinse-out.

I switched to AOWC this morning and my curls instantly perked up. Reminds me of the value of a good rinse-out!

I have been using the Tresseme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner as a leave-in for about 2 weeks now and all I can say is WOW!. This will be a staple for me now as a leave-in.

I like it better than the Vo5 Savue stuff for co-wash
and I like it better than trader joes & Yes to cucumbers for a leave-in beacause the slip is great!

Again I think it the best vaule in the store also becasue the size and the price can't be beat.

Aspartic acid is a non-essential amino acid and is found in abundance in plant proteins, especially in sprouting seeds but can be manufactured in the body from oxaloacetic acid and was first isolated in 1868 from legumin in plant seed. Aspartic acid, as well as glutamic acid, is the only amino acid that has a negatively charged carboxylate group on the side chain.

lauroyl lysine. Amino acid derivative that functions as a skin- and hair-conditioning agent. It also contributes to a product’s texture by helping to gel solvents, while also remaining stable under high heat conditions (Source: Organic and Molecular Biochemistry, November 2003, pages 4124–4131).

I've been wanting to try this conditioner and my Rite Aid is having a buy 1, get 1 free on all Tresemme products. So being the nerd I am, I vaguely remember from chemistry class that lysine and aspartic acid are amino acids (a building block of protein). So I did a little online searching and found the above. Sorry I can't get the top part to unbold.
My curls are protein sensitive so now I'm not sure if I should give it a try. It seems like some of you protein sensitive curlies aren't getting any problems from it. At buy 1 get 1 I may just give it a try but I'm afraid if my hair doesn't like it, I'm gonna end up with 2 ginormous bottles of this stuff!
