Low Porosity Curlies - Do You Use a Leave-In?

I find my hair feels pretty weighed down if I use a leave-in...even though it's super dry, it just doesn't absorb it so it hits on top of my hair. How many of you low-porosity curlies use a leave-in? My CIAB should get here soon, and I've heard a few people say the trick is to use a leave-in under it...but is that just for porous curlies?

Co-wash: Suave Naturals Tangerine, Live Clean Moisturizing, CJ Daily Fix, GTTT, Tigi MM

Conditioner: Tigi MM, Jessicurl WDT, CJ Curl Rehab, CJ Daily Smoothing, CJ H&B Deep Fix

Deep Treatment: same as rinse out

Leave-in: KCKT or my rinseout

Styling Aids: Alberto/V05 Gel, HETT/HESMU, KCCC
I can't go without a leave in. My theory is that when I use a leave in that penetrates my hair, it can take the product with it. Dunno if that's valid or not. Also, I need it as a slip providing base, and as a base for super soaking

I use a leave in, too. Some of them take a little longer to absorb. I use a few of the same as Laura Lee, a few different ones.

I've been using Garnier Triple Nutrion Conditioner (in the dark green bottle). It's moisturizing, but not to thick, so it sinks in well enough.

I always use a LI or my hair frizzes. I apply LI once out of the shower and leave it for about 5 min. while I put on body lotion, etc. then I finish with the rest of my routine. The LI's I use (as in siggy) seem to absorb really well this way.

How much leave-in do you guys use? And how much is that in comparison to how much you use in the shower for your rinse-out? I just ordered KCKT with KCCC...do any of you guys use KCKT? I can't use protein and I thought I'd try it out with KCCC since so many people rave about the combo.

I use minute amounts of any product--I don't have a lot of hair. Don't use KCKT, it's not moisturizing enough for me. KCCC is something everyone should try, or you'll always have the urge. The first time I used it, I had my best hair, to date. At this point, I rarely use it. Too many products I like much better.

I always use a leave-in. I need all the moisture I can get. I use varying amounts depending on which product I use. For example, with CJCR, I only need a pea-size. With Darcy's Pumpkin Conditioner, I use 1 full pump which is approximately dime-size.
On average, I use about a quarter sized dollop of leave in. I've not used KCKT yet.

Anywhere from a dime size (Curl Rehab), to 2 quarters (Jasmine's)

Thanks for the info guys. So, question...I know most of us like to apply gels and other such products to wet or soaking wet hair. But you can't really apply leave-in to really wet hair since your hair is already saturated with water, right? So do you dry your hair a bit, apply leave-in, then re-wet?
