Need hairdryer / diffuser recs!

My hairdryer died . It was a Conair that I'd bought at Costco a couple of years ago, so I went back to Costco and bought the Conair that they had there that comes with the diffuser and I swear that danged thing blows my hair around everywhere . And of course the old diffuser doesn't fit on the new dryer.

SO...does anyone have a recommendation for an all in one diffuser or something? I saw that a lot of people liked the Conair pancake dryer that is now discontinued...but then that won't help me.
If you focus on the negative not only is that what you'll see, that's what you'll be.
I bought a Conair Ion Shine for $15 at Dollar General the other day, and I really love it. It comes with a diffuser attachment.

The most expensive dryer I've ever had (I bought it with 25% off coupon, thou); worth every penny, IMO.

I've given up on Conair after my Costco-bought one fried the hell out of my ends and I had to chop off quite a few inches. Sally's one is so much gentler on my hair.

The only problem with it is a crappy diffuser: it's too shallow for my liking and "fingers" catch in the strands. I use an old universal Tourmaline diffuser I bought in Sally's.
Brunette, almost BSL length, growing out.
CG since Feb 2008, modified CG since September 2008.

I now know my texture/porosity!! (TY, Tiffany!) Medium texture; ends on a porous side; new growth - normal porosity.

Wash: Suave; EO Sweet Orange shampoo

Conditioner: GVP Balm, Mango Lustrasilk

Styling: KCCC, BRHG and LA Looks
