Magnesium sulphate

I haven't tried the Jessicurl styling products so I'm not sure whether or not mag sulphate dries out my hair...however, I'm seeking curl enhancement, so I thought I'd give it a go. Could I just mix in a bit with my gel? If I use a few big dollops of gel, how much mag sulphate should I mix in?
Type 2b/2c, med/coarse, low porosity, medium density

Co-wash: Suave Naturals Tangerine, Live Clean Moisturizing, CJ Daily Fix, GTTT, Tigi MM

Deep Treatment: same as rinse out

Leave-in: KCKT or my rinseout

I've had mag sulfate in a few of my products and have had pretty impressive results with it. I do not find it drying
Very coarse, thick, porous 3B. My biggest challenge is SOFTNESS and SHINE.

Current shampoo: Biosilk w/ added vitamin E
Current conditioner: Lush Okra
Leave-ins: Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, KCCC
CG didn't work for me. Oils don't work for me. Trying hard to learn how to love my hair. Read my blog.

May be an idea to disolve it in a teaspoon of warm water tho and then mix it in with the gel. You could always increase the amount if you don't notice any dryness or any difference. IMHO worth a try!
