The Big Toss

I just chucked out the following:

-- Hairdryer
-- Flat Iron
-- Curling Iron (don't ask me why would a curly girl need one of these in the first place??)
-- Round Hair Brush
-- Paddle Hair Brush (in place of wide toothed combs)

It is a great feeling. I'm still playing with the right products to put in my hair, and not every day has been great. BUT, it is winter here in NY, and only one simple solution to hair issues for YEARS was just the satin cap. The only reason I straightened my hair in the first place was because I couldn't let it air dry naturally outside in winter, and there was no other way that it could work. Showering at night ALWAYS resulted in all over the place roots and frizz. With the cap it stays in place, and I have had curly hair now for 2 weeks in the middle of crazy snow storms and all.

Anyways, sorry it's not really a question or purpose. I just felt like sharing lol.

Congrats!

You know, I still have TWO curling irons. I never use them, so I don't know why they're still laying around, but I found them recently and remembered I actually used to straighten and then re-curl my hair a certain way. I have had stylists do that too, when I asked them to style it naturally curly instead of straightening it. Durrrrr.

Thanks. Yeah, I think that was my intentions to do with it originally. But I don't recall ever actually using it, until I decided to cut bangs. I still have them, and it's not the greatest but I use a clip for now to "weigh down" until they grow long enough to be curly bangs. Probably not the greatest thing but it's gotta be better than the curling iron.
