for those with stacked bobs

How do you get good hold and definition in the back? Do you have to do anything special/use anything different from what you do in the front? I'm finding that it's harder to get the same hold and definition in the back than it is in the front and on the sides. Recommendations?

I had a stacked bob when I first went mod cg, but now I'm growing it out. I got less definition back there just because I'm wavy and the layers were shorter back there (my waves get better the longer they get).

I am tempted to go back to the bob right now, just not stacked. There was a reason I kept cutting my hair before and wearing it natural isn't changing that

I'm afraid I'll loose the wave though...

I'm a huge fan of shorter hair. My hair just looks better shorter. It has more life. I say go for the bob!

With my most recent cut, my shortest layers in the back are about 4". It's the shortest hair I've had in probably 10 years. I think the short layers will get a little curlier as they grow out a bit. I love having my hair off my neck and it feels like it has body and style with this cut. I'm just not sure how to get the same definition in the back as I have in the front.

I am going for it tonight

I am the same way - I just like my hair shorter, even when it is natural. I thought wearing it wavy would make longer hair look better on me, but no.
