Oil-free conditioner....

I learned in my previous post regarding my frizz that I have been using way too many products with oils in them and it builds up rather quickly on my hair. Can anyone suggest a conditioner that is oil-free yet very moisturizing, that I can use as a rinse-out and one that I can use as a DT. I was using GVP Cond Balm as both and I don't think my hair is agreeing with it anymore.

Ha, I was just about to post asking if there are any recs for an oil/butter free and moisturizing conditioner. We'll see if there are any suggestions!
You might try one of the Biolage Conditioning Balm knock-offs (every bit as good as the real thing) - they're well-loved here:

GVP Conditioning Balm - Sally's
Bioinfusion Conditioning Balm - Walgreen's
Shique Conditioning Balm - Aldi's (cheapest and my fave)

I can handle a little oil in some conditioners. My hair especially likes Aubrey Organics GPB Protein Conditioner - you finer curlies might like it, too.

Giovanni Tea Tree Oil has only tea tree, eucalyptus, and peppermint oils - nothing too heavy. It's a decent rinse-out, but you may need a leave-in such as GDLI if it's not moisturizing enough on its own.

The first one's your best bet, IMO - people with all kinds of hair like it.
2C/3A/3B - modified CG - med./fine, normal/low porosity/normal elasticity

Current Main Rotation: MG217 medicated or Aim2Health 'poos for scalp, YTCarrots or Elucence cond., Spiral Solutions Protein & Deeply Decadent Cond., CJCCCC reg or lite, KCCC, Giovanni LA Hold Hair Spritz + lots more, sporadically

HG Method: Super Soaker + Smasters-ing, brief upside down diffusing w/360o diffuser then clips/clamps & air dry. Newly gray - stopped my henna glosses!
