grey/white hair and porosity

my hair is normal porosity, but seems to have characteristics of high since i've stopped coloring it. it takes almost 4 hrs to dry, so that confirms it is not high porosity (plus it hates oils). however, the white hairs lose moisture quickly, i need to put a lot of product (leave in, sealant....) to keep it from drying out during the day.
any of you noticed a difference in your grey/white hair as far as moisture is concerned? how do you combat it?

When I had my hair analysis done I sent both grey hairs and my natural colored hairs. My analysis came back as having normal porosity.
I will say my hair feels drier and more porous, but doesn't necessarily act that way. I haven't made any changes in my usual product yet.

My hair is low to normal porosity and my grey hair is no different from my dark hair.

My hair is coming in white, not grey, and the strands are still fine but noticeably coarser (or less fine?) than my youthful hair.

I don't have enough of it yet to say anything definitive about how it behaves; but it does behave differently.
