Well yeah Bur I like the idea of a very sheer color.

I understand, in the past year I have started using a BB cream more than foundation, with a light dusting of powder over.
Another factor, besides one's skin undertone, that determines if one looks lovely with grey and white hair or not is the state of one's skin. All the women who look great tend to have very even-toned skin, like many of the women in these photos. Hardly a sun spot in sight. But for someone whose skin is prone to sun spots that are not easily covered up, maybe not so much. But that might be a matter of personal opinion, so no flames, please! So, whatever kind of skin one has, even more attention to skin care in general really helps(and good sun protection).
That makes sense, caramix3a. Sun spots and blotches are often warm shades. Silver/gray hair tends to be cool. Cool hair tends to blend better with cooler skin tones. But to be fair, any color hair (as long as it's healthy-looking) will look better against nice, healthy, glowing skin.

I'll see if I can dig out my old boomstick color. Hopefully it hasn't gone bad. I did like the color a lot and I love the whole concept. Thanks for reminding me, chupie!

I like it in the fall/winter. I also like the Tarte cheek stain in "natural beauty" for a brighter pink/rose shade that blends well for both the cheeks and lips. (There are also multiple different shade of the tarte cheek stain.) Having both of them is a great combo. Boomstick is a more earthy shade and the Tarte is a brighter, cooler shade. HTH's!!

I've wondered about the Tarte. Need to look at that.
