I am one that is on the going gray message board and love it. I get my curly girl fix on this board and treasure the advice. But the gray board is very supportive when your gray gets you down. I cant link but if you google Silver Sisters Gray Cafe, it will come up.

So here is a cheery thought. Don't let going gray get you down romantically. Plenty of my gray is showing and I had a very serious pass made at me from a guy half my age.

Y'know, I've tried and tried getting into that Silver Sisters message board - no luck. Either they say I already have an account or something. Can't seem to find any one specific place I can send an email to to find out how I can re-set things. ???

Caramix: I started taking Biotin a few months ago so I'm crediting that as my reason for my hair growing faster. Normally, it's REALLY slow....

rbb: Love your headband idea....I'm not quite sure I have the "face" for it though. But I'm willing to try anything to get through this rough time of it. In answer to your question, my hair is layered and curly - the longest part of it is a bit past my shoulders.

I tried attaching a picture - not sure if that's the way to do it though?

it looks good! you could even do clips to clip the sides back.... just a different hairstyle as you grow in the gray. i think it's gong to look great!

i agree about the silver sisters cafe website -- in past year or so i've tried a few times, find it difficult to get on. i know several people on nc are on there, but i cannot figure it out.
but, at the least you can get the book.
and, if you look at the other threads in this forum, there are lots of pictures.

Absolutely gorgeous Myrna!!! I've often seen your posts about problems you're having ~ looks to me like they've all been solved!!!
Hi, rbb, thank you so much, as I said, my own hair is pulled up and there is a silver curly scrunchie for help. I wanted to see how I would look all silver. In November, I will be at the one year mark. I am so happy I did this; almost every day someone compliments me on my hair; I tell the person, I quit coloring it.
You all are looking great!

Hi all.

I've just come back here after a long absence.

In October, I decided to stop the colouring and embrace the grey! I chopped it to a pixie thinking that I would be completely grey. I wasn't. But it is liberating to not worry about the colour at all.

Now my hair is chin length. I have found the curl pattern much different than when I coloured it. I've been a lazy curly girl methoder and am going to work at it a bit again.

I don't use silicone or sulfates in my hair.

I don't have any pictures at the mo.

Poo: Have to admit I have recently become a Wen convert. Love it. I have always had problems with my hair "hanging" right, curling uniformly and destorting the perimeter line. Wen makes it hang evenly.

I am trying again to update a photo of the back of my hair. The previous post DOES NOT contain the photo that I attached. Have no clue what happened. Not much different, I know but just not the most current one.
