Default How can I grow my hair faster?

hey girls
i have shoulder length, 3a hair, which is currently very damaged. do i have to cut off the damaged ends in order for it to grow longer? i know hair grows about half an inch per month, but mine always gets damaged, so i cut it.
so, how can i keep my hair healthy, so i don't have to keep cutting it?

I would probably trim off the damage, but very little. Don't cut too much or you might regret it.

Then, I would try some really good deep conditioning treatments and possibly protein treatments (if your hair likes protein) to strengthen your hair.

Sometimes I spray some lavender oil (there are other oils you can use, too) to the ends of my hair to help it look shiny and less dry.
