I'd love to grow my hair down to as long as waist length, but I don't know if I have the patience to wait that long before I get it cut! I actually want to donate my hair, and although I believe I now have the minimum length necessary, I'd like to donate more if possible. If I were not growing my hair out for donation, I'd just cut a few inches off now, because long hair is getting annoying to care for.

I just cut my hair the longest portions flat ironed were hip length but I just couldn't deal with it. I actually don't mind all the shrinkage anymore when curly because when it is straight and that long it can be a nuisance. I cut it to waist length and I probably won't bother flat ironing till about October.

I've been transitioning for 9 months now. My hair and I are going through some ups and downs. I would love to grow my hair to my waist but I don't really know what to expect from it because I still have so much relaxer. Scared to do the BC! My question is, for those of you who have transitioned, is your natural hair now different that when you first started? I hope I'm asking this right.LOL. But if it's been years do you see a change in your hair? Do you know what to do with your particular type? Right now I'm feeling a little discouraged.
