Unhappy Bad Haircut, Need Advice

So today I got my haircut, and it turned out really bad. Now, I have weird, short angled pieces in the front and my hair is a lot shorter than I wanted. On top of it all, it isn't evenly cut on both sides. So, does anyone have any advice for growing hair out and dealing with bad haircuts?

I can honestly say I've had horrible hair cuts. I am currently growing my hair out from a bad accident. I got expand foam stuck all over one side of my hair and had to cut it out. I ended up cutting the other side too but I got layers to keep some length. I also have had several bad hair cuts since. I suggest maybe getting layers and not taking off length. Also you should experiment with products and styling that could possible let you manipulate your hair into looking more even and whatnot. That's what I did and still do!

Yeah I've been experimenting with different products to try and make it look better but I haven't found the right combination yet.
