Default Growing out short curly bob with bangs...

argh! My hair cutter said wait sixteen weeks before trimming and it's been about twelve. Not looking so good. Love to know what people think about trimming vs not trimming when growing out... How frequent?
Thanks.

Hi La wavy. I've not had a cut since last Nov I'm growing out a chin length bob, and now past shoulders. So I vote for no trimming

Thanks, Pixie. You're inspiring me to wait longer. So you don't worry about split ends or any of that?

I've been lucky hardly any split ends. If I get them I just cut off the split end with a sharp pair of hairdressing scissors. On the LHC its cold s&d, search and destroy, you only cut off the damaged part, so its not technically a trim

I started out with a short curly bob with bangs. I say only trim what is absolutely necessary and don't worry about the rest.

I get trims every 10 weeks. I also use a shampoo soap bar from this place called Chagrin Valley which works great!
