Default Search and Destroy question

i recently figured out my hair hasnt really been growing because i had so many splits i cut some of them and my friend told me a month later that my hair grew ( she has the same hair type as me) 3c/4a
so how many times should i do this? i do have professional cutting scissors ^.^ i used to do it everyday but is that bad?

Doing that everyday could eventually be the reason you won't be able to see any growth in your hair. I'd say do that once every 3 or so months, not everyday it seems a bit excessive.

Try sealing your ends to keep from having so many splits.
