Oh, yes! It is beautiful. i'm sure if stretched it would be more than shoulder length, but don't do that to it, it is too beautiful now. I had a period of very rapid, thick hair growth 3 years ago after having neck surgery because i drank a protein shake daily to encourage healing and since it was made with milk, I also got the calcium needed. I should go back to that.

ETA: you're beautiful too!

The way my hair is growing, I won't be to shoulder-length until the end of the year (My hair is right below my chin now.). My goal is mid-back. How are you guys planning to keep your hair healthy during summer? I know the sun and chlorine is going to get me. Do the swim shampoos really work ?

Oh, thanks. I would love my hair to grow to my waist, but that would be waaaaaaay more hair than I could handle.

yeah it pretty much took me a year to go from chin length to shoulder, its probably because my curls are alot tighter. well since i wont be doing much over the summer my hair will mostly be tied up/updo. i havent tried any swim shampoos because i dont swim in pools as much but hopefully my hair grows alittle quicker

As far as progress I hit apl in the back and full sl on the sides and front stretched. Once again I don't think I'll c sl unstretched until I'm waist length. But here's something I did while I was bored today for a PS. I used the nafy hair so I could maintain big twist for a few weeks

I'm a little back bsl in the back and id have to say that putting my hair up and away did it the most. I wear twists and braids, with my own hair, and buns and I love those styles. Find ways to make protecting cute. Also spend say a month not thinking about hair or longer. Time goes by when u literally forget about length and just go about your days.
Hope I could help.

Yesss the moment I forgot about my hair and just kept it up/ away it grew like weeds. Too bad I'm excited over how it's grown so I'm obsessing again...

For swimming it's best to keep your hair up or wear a cap. When I swim I just try to get it wet as little as possible and keep it in a tight bun because all of that chlorine is really bad for it. Plus water tangles the heck out of my hair. If you're doing swimming as a sport definitely get a cap.

I swim a lot and have artificially coloured hair, so I definitely need to keep the chlorine away.

What I do is this:
1. Rinse my hair before swimming and put a small amount of leave-in conditioner in it.

2. Wear a cap while swimming

3. After done swimming, do a full co-wash and put leave-ins afterwards.

Most tap water also has some chlorine in it. But not nearly as much as pool water.
