shoulder length anybody?

Thanks I think I'll once a month or less because the trim really shortened my hair in the back. But it takes maybe 3 washes to get my hair to curl back to normal. Now its like I got a texturizer.

Ya I'm trying to grow my hair out more healthy by the time I start college next year.
I know not everybody is very positive about this brand, but for me it really helped to get my hair over my shoulders! This is where I am now
Ive been natural for nearly a year now. I haven't did as much to my hair as I see a lot of natural women do and I've had great results as far as growth goes. I wash it every week to two weeks. I dont comb it everyday either, matter of fact I only "comb" my hair in the shower with conditioner in it. Ive been moisturizing it every night with something called "Hawaiian silky" ( Amazon.com: Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker 14 in 1, 16 oz: Beauty ) and run my fingers through it in attempts to not make it too frizzy. Now I have been doing a LOT of product searching and it is the most consistent moisturizer Ive found for night time use, its too wet for day. When I do braid outs I use that as well and and a couple of pumps of "natural curlz" ( All Natural Ingredients hair care line ) for daily moisture and shine. Its awesome and smells so good. It helps a lot too if I put the braids in rollers to lock in moisture on my ends overnight. I hope that made sense. My hair has grown about 7" so far, and I'm about 10 months in. Im not sure if thats normal or below but I'm happy with it. Best of luck!
Rachel: wow!! And your hair is beautiful. Ive heard do many good things of mixed chicks. Its a little on the expensive side but it looks like ill have to try it!

Candice: im just like you. I hardly do anything to my hair and comb it once a week. Ill have to try some of those products though

I tend to use Devacurl One Condition and No Poo. Once a month, I use the Hair Rules shampoo that removes buildup.

I didn't keep strict track, and I had some generous trims, but it probably took at least 2.5 years for my hair to go from chin length when dry to shoulder length when dry.
hey all just wanted to tell you guys that im at an actual shoulder length!

I'm there stretched. Can't wait to be there curly!!! I trimmed about an inch off Sunday. My hair looks so much nicer!! Stupid me haven't taken any pics. Also parting further over gives me so much more FULLNESS up front!! Very happy.

BlackAngelPlayah: I also love parting my hair way over! i used to actually hate fullness and i dnt even know why because i LOVE the way my hair looks when it gets bigger!

Johari: & that braid out looks so moisturized too im so jealous. Ive been having problems with it being alittle dry lately haha it definatley looks longer though!

Yeah what helped me was protective stlying! Lots of buns and updos, it took me about 3-4 months from neck to full sl
I finally reached shoulder length. Curly is just grazes my shoulders and straightened its just passed. My ultimate goal is waist to tailbone length, so I 've got a ways to.go. Hang in yhere my curlie sistas, we will reach our goals of longer healthy curls!!
I am a little geek
Who has a little ink
And I love my tiny converse shoes!

Well I'm at my longest since 7th grade (i'm 20 now), and during highschool I went through a barrage of pixie cuts, and never lower than my neck. Now it's finally reaching my collar bones, I really just stopped straightening, blowdrying, and coloring as much as possible. It really depends on your hair though. For the longest time I thought it wasn't growing at all, but then all of a sudden I was able to get it into a pony tail!
