Your hair looks a lot closer than 4 inches away but its gorgeous! It looksso full and healthy girl...I'm surprised you didn't want to wear it like that for a while and show off your length.

Thanks!!!!! I've gotten so obsessed with curly hair, heat damage freaks me out lol. I didn't do nearly as many passes as I used to with the flat iron to get it as straight as I like. Plus I've gotten so used to my curly hair, I feel like straight hair doesn't look right on me any more (never thought I would say that lol). One of my coworkers who is also a seamstress told me that the waist line is wear the elbows meet your side. So I'm estimating that its 3-4 inches till then. How's your progress coming along?

wet, and dry.
I know waist length is farrrr in the future for me. Especially since my wet hair is barely bra strap length and my curly dry hair is still a little past my shoulders and its been this way forever...but I'm still trying. <3 (:

Your curls are beautiful..... shiny, twisty n twirly. Just remember to protect those ends and don't mess in your hair too much.

Thank you.  i seal with jojoba but I'm always throwing my hair up and down at work. I wanna just figure out some styles to keep it up but my hair is so hard to get to hold a style. Sigh. I'm trying.

Personally I feel like I'm in some sort of a rut. Like my hair isn't growing at the same rate, or its in a restin phase, or I'm not retaining anything. It doesn't feel shorter but it doesn't seem longer either. I self trimmed about a month ago so if the problems retention hopefully it'll help with that. I really want to just want to do protective styles and ignore it for a while but that'll (the ignoring it part) probably be the opposite of helpful.

Finer, mixed with coarser strands, low-porosity, wavy curly whirly hair...3A, 2C hair. Medium thickness, medium elasticity.
S-shaped hair with corkscrew ends. My hair is even more confused than me ;p
My hair officially hates protein  Once a month is enough!
Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!

Man, I'm so impatient...i realized yesterday when i stretch a curl down to my side, I'm about 4 inches away from Waist Length while straight. Seems like it'll take an eternityyy. Idk how long it'd take for my curls to reach WL. Because they get curlier with length. So they ALWAYS look around the same length. :/

I know what you mean. This CG method makes my curls tighter and tighter. It seems like my curls have been shoulder length since last year.
