Im gonna wear twists for two weeks at a time until the end of the year and see how much length I retain that way.

Sounds good....I'm going to make sure I only use my fingers or my wide toothed comb instead of fave fine toothed comb. I think everything else is I'm doing is good.
We should both take before and after shots.

As I'm working out, it dawns on me that the sweat is probably drying the ends of my ponytail as it swings back and forth across my neck and shoulders. I hate balls though...maybe an altered-dropped type of ball.

That could work or maybe put a little bit of oil on the end of your ponytail before you work out.

Me too! Ima stop using heat and grow my curls out without damage...... But if I cut all the straight strands my hair will be ear length instead of shoulder :/

Why not put it in a French braid then tuck the ends in?

That sounds nice but that's too much manipulation....I workout everyday. I think the loose ball might be my best option since oiling my ends would cause my skin (neck area) to break out.

Really? I always thought it was less harmful because ponytail holders caused me breakage.

Well I'm thinking since I'll have to grab hair from the root about every inch that'll be lots of manipulation....especially doing that 6 days a week.
