Looks like it grew a couple of inches. I'm gonna use the bottom of the wings on the shirt to mark waist length. So it looks like I've got about 5-6 inches to go. My ends still look and feel healthy, not many split ends. At this rate I should still be on track to reach my goal by the end of the year. Happy growing ladies!!!

Congrats @ LisaLisa, you're hair is so beautiful! What would you say has helped you reach your goal the most?

I think there are two things:
Taking excellent care of the ends, and the realization that if there is no damage, there is no reason to cut. I only trim every 4 to 5 months. And I trim myself so only a teeny bit comes off each time.

I think the fighting the urge to trim has been the hardest thing - but the most rewarding. Just let it grow!

So I measured my hair yesturday, since the length goal of WL seems to be around 31", and fully dry it's 23.25", and soaking wet it's 27.25".

I totally know what you mean by fighting the urge to trim Lisa. I hope I learn to do that though because I am just about satisfied with my ends. I got almost all of the straight dead pieces.

Hey,

May I join this? I'm just joined this site today but I've been trying to grow my hair out for a while. I dont use product in my hair so my hair can be anywhere from 2b to 3a when dry and 2a when wet. I got my hair trimmed today so I figured it would be a good time to actually figure out what I'm doing. The back of my hair is v-shape so the longest part when wet is a little longer than the bottom of my shoulder blades. shortest part is at arm pit length. Any tips?

I recently finished an 100 day hair challenge, wasn't necessarily to get my hair to waist length, i just want it really long but waist length might just be my new challenge. For my 100 day challenge, i took biotin and folic acid everyday and used no heat products and it was over march 30th but i am going to the salon to get it straightened today and maybe a few highlights since i wad too lazy to do my own hair but so excited to see my growth!!

Hey, no judgement over here!!! Lol I already knew I didn't have enough will power to go a whole year without flat ironing. I'm kinda glad you did because I see we are pretty close in length with straight hair. I think you may have a couple of inches on me. So now you're my grow out partner whether you like it or not!!! Lol. The flat iron I use goes up to 400 degrees so I turn the dial down a little bit from there so somewhere between 350 and 375.

When my hair is straight, I wrap it. But lately I've been lazy and it's been in a bun 24/7.

I'm in!! My hair is just past my shoulders right now and it grows very slow, so it will probably take me 3 years to get to the waist but I'd like to try and see.

I read this and thought "only 3 years?" ...My hair must grow ultra-slow...

I'd like to join the challenge, but somehow I know my hair won't make it to waist for at least a year or few. My hair is currently Bras Strap length? Barely. It's taken me years to get it from shoulder to here, so...

Has anyone had success with adding just Folic Acid tablets to their diets? Plain biotin broke me out badly, but I want to take something... Thank you.

Folic acid is great. I've been using the Nature Made brand.
