Who's gonna start the 2012 waist length callenge ;-)

Okay, I know I'm a little late to the game in joining this thread, but it looks fun I've actually been growing my hair out since about April 2011, when I cut it to just above shoulder length. I dyed my hair several times in the fall (including highlights), so my hair was at a really fried/unhealthy state right before I started CG at the end of December 2011.

Here is from several years ago:

Here is last September, after cut/dye and before CG:

I think I'm currently about BSL, or almost, in the very back; I get it trimmed every 10-12 weeks to help keep my layers/shape looking good while I'm growing it out. My goal is for the longest length to be between MBL and WL, so that from the front I still have a lot of longer layers.

I want to join! I am currently midback length when stretched. The picture is one I posted on my tumblr last week! I may have to get a trim soon but I have been trying to wait as long as possible. Who's gonna start the 2012 waist length callenge ;-)-uploadfromtaptalk1338434516696.jpg

I'm so glad post partum shedding doesn't seem to be affecting me. I need to take a pic but I think I'm getting a lil closer to waist length!

I'm not very close, but my hair is certainly growing. I'll post a pic soon, hopefully. My hair is pretty long straight, though. Ugh, I wish my hair would have such a growth spurt like when I was in 5th grade lol.

Bleuyteuy, thank you for your post about baggying! It inspired me to start it!

I did a little bit of research on baggying, and people say it is like a greenhouse effect, and will help with hair growth. I am so excited to see the results! I put in some Suave Naturals Strawberry conditioner and oil, then put my hair in three plastic shower caps (my hair is too thick and long for just one) and tied on my satin scarf to trap in some heat. Yay!

Curly hair is about CB length. It's been really hot and humid where I live so I'll post a straight hair update later.

@Jeliah what would you consider your curl type 3a? 3b? Just askin
