Default How fast does your hair grow?

Mine is usually 1/2 an inch per month but if I eat well and take omega 3 it can grow up to an inch a month. I'm thinking about trying GNC hair supplements though, if I could get my hair to grow faster that would be AWESOME.

My hair grows freakishly fast - over an inch a month. I'm constantly trimming my hair. In August I got my hair cut above my shoulders, now it's past my around-the-chest bra strap.

Biotin is great for hair - I used to take it for my nails but it made my hair grow out of control.

Nope, I just grabbed whatever is at the pharmacy. I think at lot of it is drinking lots of water too - sounds silly but it speeds up your metabolism, so why not hair growth too?

My nails grow crazy fast too, so I might just be one of those lucky ones - but the real growth started when I started drinking 5l+ of water a day.

I've never measured my hair but it seems to grow at a normal rate. I've used Biotin on and off for years, switched to MSM in August, then started the biotin again a little over a week ago and now take both. It might be growing a bit faster since I started the supplements. Even though I want my hair to grow REALLY badly I'm trying not to obsess over it. Hopefully it'll be shoulder-length in less than a year's time!!!

My hair has been abused and experimented on by my friends who went to "beauty school". One of my friends tried to do a color correction and ended up bleaching my hair so there is a pretty clear line of regrowth by which I measure my growth. I'm hoping that in maybe a year from now (hopefully less!) I can just chop it all off and be done, but I look terrible with short hair so its a waiting game right now. I'll start drinking plenty of water and taking biotin too.

My nails grow crazy fast too but my hair is just average. I need to start drinking water. I'm a total coffee addict for absolutely no reason other than that I like it :P

My hair normally grows at about a rate of .5inches per month; however, I have been stressed out lately and only eating like a meal or two per day. Man, does that affect the rate of growth! I'm also a little anemic and that doesn't help matters at all.

I guess I'll have to start eating like a normal human being again if I want to reach BSL next year.

I've read that Omega 7 is the best fatty acid for hair growth. It can be found in Sea Buckthorn supplements (and few other foods).
See my post on Sea Buckthorn: Sea Buckthorn supplements (SiBu)

I have to admit when I used to juice carrots and apples I had noticeable hair growth. I guess because of the beta carotene. I'm going to start juicing that again.

.5-.75 inches a month, but if I take Biotin consistently, I grow 1 inch. I take 2-4 5,000mcgs a day. That being said, I wish I took it more consistently because I started out with 2 inches, took Biotin for 1 month, and it grew 1 inch, but kind of stopped taking it, so it's been growing .5" a month. I will pick back up!

Mine is usually .5" - .75" per month, depending on how much whey protein I can stand to choke down.

I grow 1/2 of an inch monthly when I don't do anything (no growth aids, vitamins, etc.) but when I use MN, combined with Shikakai Oil, I get up to an inch. I'm working on trying to gain as much as I can lol.
