I'll join in!
I actually just cut my almost shoulder length hair to a chin length bob, and while I do really like it (and the reduced drying time!), I'd like to grow out my hair to maybe BSL or so to maximize its wave potential. I've been taking MSM and my hair has gotten quite a bit thicker, but I haven't noticed a ton of growth yet because I only cut it last week. My hair tends to grow pretty quickly though, so I'm hoping I'll get it beyond shoulder length this year.

Thumbs up

I'll join! I'm a 2bish depending on how my hairs feeling. Right now, it's a teensy tiny bit above BSL when natural. I want at waist length when straight by the end of the year, hopefully longer. My hair grows at an average rate, probably above average during the summer, and I have barely any shrinkage. Right now, my hair is 23ish inches, measuring from the part(side with more hair) to the bottom. Waist length would be 28ish/29, measuring the same way.

ETA: I've been growing out my hair since.....Well about 2 and a half years ago? Hahah. My haircut from hell was chin length with short SHORT layers and horrible bangs. And a bad dye job to match. What a way to start out 8th grade! I
went through a growth slump when I straightened every day, but since last year I straighten like once every 2 weeks. And my hair is growing really well! I'm starting to get "Oh your hair is so LONG, did you get extensions?" comments from people.
I'll put up a pic later!

I'm in!

I'm getting my hair cut and coloured tonight so I will ask my hairdresser to dust the ends rather than trimming them.

Last night I DT'd with a mixture of coconut oil, coconut cream, honey and conditioner.

I'm taking MSM, biotin, vitamin E, vitamin D, fish oil and olive leaf extract. I'm also trying to get as much water into me each day ad avoiding white flour. I exercise several times a week so my biggest worry there is is having to wash out sweat and oil build up.

I'll post pics soon

I am totally in!

I am a 2c/3a and have been doing CG for almost 3 weeks now and am starting to see slight and good changes in the health of my hair.

I have been trying to grow it for ages and currently my longest layers at the back are just past my shoulders. My goal is to have it at least to BSL by next Jan. My hair grows the speed of a turtle however so I am not holding my breath lol

Take Biotin, any multivitamins and vitamin E. That will speed it up. And drink plenty of water.

fine bleached 2a/3b hair that doesn't actually curl, it's just like an S shape that just gets tighter. sometimes some of it curls underneath though.

messaging your scalp with rosemary oil, (not pure its really strong!) will help. i finally go t my hands on it! i mix it with argan oil, peppermint and lavender. ive found that it helps with build up, any dirt that gets in between washes, its really good after i low poo, cause it restores my natural oils alot quicker, AND helps with any dandruff i think im in love!!!
