60 day scalp massage!?
I'm always hearing a scalp massage will help grow hair but I get too lazy to do it even once a week.Does anyone else want to try doing it every other day or once a day for month? This is my hair today and in 2 months I'll post another pic to see if it grew its average 1 inch or longer due to the massage.Hopefully I'm consistant. I have 3 differenet main oils that I use but 3 others I haven't used since last yr.I don't know if you're suppose to massage you scalp with oil but I can't really do it without it.

I wouldn't mind trying this. Once a day sounds good. I would try with oil but I'm nervous about putting that on my scalp. How long should the massage be?

even messaging your scalp with out oil is great! though adding a oil, or a mixture of oils can really be beneficial in aiding with the growth. a few things, first choose a light oil, if your going to use essential oils, only use a few drops.
Same base oils: argan oil, jojoba oil rosehip oil
same essential oils that can help in growth: rosemary, tea tree, peppermints.
Now ive made a mixture of rosemary, tea tree peppermints and argan oil, which i rubb into my scalp every night. i get same on the pads of my finger tips, rub them together then just message my scalp, i try to do it so i dont get it on my hair, cause i want the oil on my scalp. i just keep doing it till ive done my entire scalp, which takes about 5 mins. its part of my routine, so i dont forget.
ooh and hair grows quicker during the day, so i always message it at night, after my shower and before i go to bed.
hope that helps ladies!

yep, ive been doing it for months, just recently i havent had time to do it . my current mixture is: half argan oil, n half evening primrose oil, few drops of rosemary, peppermints and vitemine E oil. i really enjoy this cause it smells amazing and helps me to fall asleep, helps if you got a cold, head aches or just to help you relax. i keep it beside my bed so i dont forget.

I want to try it too. I already mixed my oils: olive, coconut, castor, tea tree, vitamin e oil and a bit of cinnamon and cayenne pepper.

Ya sounds like a good mix but you don't have to use oil all the time. For me its too much but water might help with the massage too.

I would like to try this too! I have heard that it is very good for the scalp (especially if massaged upside down, but i have been lazy about doing it this past month since school started. I will try though. Maybe I'll make a check list next to my bed so I don't forget!

Id say just do 60 days for your individual self because I probably won't be consistant and don't want to start when I know I won't be consistant.

Yayyyy I literally just started doing scalp massages w/avocado, sweet almond, and that CURLS (sp?) growth oil like a week ago and I'm already in love. It makes my hair feel so moisturized and soft and my scalp feels amazing; clean and no build up. I massage with my head upside down over my bed twice a week for about 5 minutes and make sure I get the oil right onto my scalp. Love it.

Where do all of you buy your oils? Is Whole Foods a good place to look?

I use to buy regular olive oil from safeway and tried coconut oil from 'Health Unlimited' and it smelled rancid so I don't go there for carrier oils. For essential oils I go to Health Unlimited.
I found a liquior store that sells oils and foods from other countries. There I got grapeseed, almond, flaxseed, ect oil and it was a great price like $9 for 18oz.Its cheaper than health unlimited but I have to take a bus to get there so I wait til I run out of everything except for my local olive oil.
